Dr. Etoia Rivera-Strohm will be our Guest Speaker on the subject of Kente Cloth. Kente cloth is a narrow cloth woven on simple looms that is part warp faced cloth, then weft faced cloth and has added brocade elements. (Etoia is also running a workshop on the same subject this month.)
