Welcome

The Weavers Guild of Miami Valley, Inc. was organized in 1949 to promote interest in handweaving.  Today the Guild is a non-profit, educational organization promoting handweaving, handspinning and the textile arts.  The Guild offers educational programs in fiber techniques and processes and encourages artistic awareness and excellence in the textile crafts through lectures, discussions, exhibits, workshops and demonstrations.

Greetings Guild Members,

Hello everyone! Happy Thanksgiving and a soon to be Happy Holidays!
For personal notes, I think I’m about through with the home-searching process, but it’s not over until
the date of closing! So I’ll have more information about all that after the new year. Otherwise I’ve
just been packing and getting prepared for a move. In Weaver’s Guild world, I’ve been crowdsourcing
and working with the new Programs and Events Committee to come up with a wonderful
2026-2027 schedule. Work will go into full swing after the Holiday hubbub and the New Year, so
hopefully you look forward to that. If anyone has any interest in assisting or adding comments,
please let me know. I’m excited about our Holiday dinner, and hope to see you all there!
